Exactly what we needed.

Yes, the second half was boring but at 3-0 up it was the perfect opportunity to conserve some energy ahead of three huge games and we may not get many more chances to do that during the run-in.

Job done. Not much to read from that second half given the number of changes. If Leicester can scare us with a late goal, an early Bayern goal on Wednesday will be squeaky bum time.

Kalvin Philips absolutely stealing a living (£300k pw) … I lost count of the amount of mis-placed or overhit passes, plus getting in the way of Ede for their goal.

Shocking 2nd half, but a wins a win at this stage, especially coming so soon after Bayern.

Glad to bank three points, put some pressure on Arsenal, but more importantly keep the equation in our favour.

First half was us at our best, dictating the flow of the game, the pressing was elite. Stones goal was superb, nothing less then he deserved. Haaland's gonna Haaland, no more words needed there.

Second half with all the subs you almost instantly see why those players aren't featuring. Take Haaland, Stones, Rodri, De Bruyne & Grealish out on top of Gundogan not featuring you see the difference. But it needed to be done with Bayern away coming up, and bigger games to come.
