Leicester (H) Post Match Thread.

Just a minor thing having watched Kompany's goal for the thousandth time - Leroy Sane knows that's in before it hits the back of the net. He's already starting to celebrate with the ball still in the air on its way in.

Ok I watched on the box, and does anybody else think Sky fuck around with the sound when we're playing?. Always sounds muted, none more evident than last night.

What a player Vincent is ..he's a fucking hero.. absolutely loves the club and our fans and is rightly loved back.
I was thinking noo don't shoot but I'm so glad he did..what a strike ...
We definitely deserved to win but Leicester didn't make it easy..
Jumped up when the goal went in and bloody knee is killing me ..but it's worth the pain.
What a great night and they even had a double tram on for the Ashton line..wonders never cease.

did not make last night with work but i had the game on the radio, was at the traffic lights on the way home when it hit the net,,a massive yell of yes from me and the car was rocking like that scene from only fools and horses,,a few strange looks from people on the pavement

Apart from the obviously awe and joy last night gave me, I was really impressed with Leicester and in particular Chilwell and Maddison. Good players, and I hope Pep's post game hugs and chat with Chilwell paves the way for him joining us in a few months time.
Good job no VAR to witness the handover of brown paper bags ;)

I watched it on Sky, nice to hear Neville waxing lyrical about City and what they have achieved, he was almost going to say greatest team ever, he certainly implied it. Carragher was fighting through the tears, clear to see, he was a broken man during that post match, and nice to see too, that fucker would have been wearing a Leicester shirt at the end if we had not got the points.

What a night, what a club.

"He is an incredible human being and he helps me a lot....."

Perhaps I'm reading between the lines but seems like VK is being lined up for a backroom role.

I sincerely hope so, he is a great motivator & a true ambassador, not just for City, but for football in general, & I think he would be fantastic for the club beyond his football playing...

Having said that, I'd love to see him captain the side out for the next season, at least - & hopefully for another three.

Last nights goal, I think, was the only way we were going to score. Every time Sergio, Sterling or Silva got the ball there were two men on them instantly.... Vinny read it perfectly, he dummied a run to Raheem, who was immediately marked with two men, which is what Leicester had done for 40 minutes up to that point.

Watching the replays, it was like the whole field opened up in front of him as Leicester homed in on Raheem & I'm sure Vinny knew it was the only way for City to score.

The more I watch it, the more masterful it is.

One step, two steps and the field moved aside for him as he played Leicester into their set move, waiting for the clear shot.

Vinny Sir, you are a God.
