Leicester (H) Post Match Thread.

How much of a teams success is down to a manager and how much is down to have Lampards, Terrys, Kompanys, Keanes etc in your dressing room?

From Utdcafe

"They've had every advantage going this season: the core of their team staying fit all season (including their most important player VVD), competing on fewer fronts and fewer fixtures (or should I say Klopp intentionally bombing out of the domestic cups to focus on the league), refereeing decisions, penalty decisions, dives, defensive errors, opposition missing sitters, heck even GKs throwing the ball into their own net and for me one of the most significant - playing their games earlier than City for the majority of the run-in. This must've put immense pressure on City every week to deliver as any slip-up would've been catastrophic, so credit to them for doing the job. They've done remarkably well clawing back that ten point lead Liverpool had. Let's hope they finish the job on Sunday."

It's nice reading their comments, they're desperate for us to win

Gundo had a great game on the ball but can’t agree with those saying we dont miss Ferna. Their 2 best chances came when Gundo was brushed off the ball by Maguire and Choudhury. They should have scored. Whole different mood on here today. Gundogan has his strengths but doesn’t sense danger or tackle like Ferna.

He does sense the danger, just is not quick enough to get there. Fernandinho is so much quicker.

Still all ****s though

It gets a bit annoying reading on here after games like the ones against Burnley and last night that we played shoddy or shit. For 1- There are opponents. Premier League opponents no less and some of them are very well organized and have players that can hurt you. If that Leicester team stays together they're gonna be a real threat to the top four next season.

Well said, Jay.

I think it was said earlier in the match day thread, Leicester looked like Barcelona in the first half and I thought the same - well I thought they were playing the passing game same as City, from time to time.

We talk about the top 4, but really the top six are all brilliant sides. Just look at how Spurs came at us in the second leg, how Leicester trouble Liverpool as well as pulling the best out of our players.

Even as Champions, we can't take any team for granted, the PL standard is above and beyond now. We only have to look at how close and how tight the margins have been this season.

Its been a hell of a ride as every team has stepped up to be counted.

But when a season can be decided on 1 or 2 missed penalties, 1 or 2 injuries or unlucky results - it goes to show the quality.

Jose said that every team got better except for utd, he was right on the £.

And I think it was Shearer who said that its the top six or seven teams now, not just one or two.

But this is our year, our time.

One more win :)

For what Its worth, I think defending the title & winning back to back is bigger than the CL.

Leicester fans in the car park at the end of the game chanting “Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool”

After we applauded them off in the year they won the league, they’ve gone down in my estimations.

The stupid accent Scouse sympathising ****s

Yeah agree, giving it large last night until we scored. Cheek, is this a library when they hardly sung all night.
