Sorry, we need grafters with bottle, not the likes of Sterling and Clichy !
Not being funny but did you actually see how well (3 time Premier Lg winner) Clichy played on Saturday? And did you see how well Sterling took his goal? Oh some people..... sigh

Clichy unbelievably lethargic as usual and scoring a goal doesn't make a performance !
Lol ok we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I think Sterling is a total confidence player, so when he's not on top form he looks pretty shit, and when the crowd gets on his back, which drives me fuckin mad, he just plays worse. He wasn't great on Saturday, but no where near as bad as some drama queens on here make out. Clichy is not up to the standard we now need for our system, but he's just another City fan scapegoat - we all know some shit head City fans love one - but he is also nowhere near as bad as some say and played very well on Saturday after someone must have actually given him permission to cross the ball.

I think if Kun is fit to play I get the feeling Pep may well play both he and Jesus up front together for the rest of the season. I just dont see why he wouldnt play Kun with his goalscoring record in recent weeks he has been banging them in again for fun. Time will tell but a patnership of Jesus and Kun must be given some sort of run out together before the season ends. Pep can easy get a team to play together with the 2 starting together and playing at home too. Knowing 2 more wins will more than likely set us into the top 4 if were going to over take Liverpool goal difference might play a part too. Wouldnt want it going down to the Watford game in a shoot out for 3rd.

Our pace all across the front line was something Palace could not handle and looking at Leicester's defence, I think it should be same again.

I would really love to thrash these, hope Pep remembers the long ball to that ferret face bastard Vardy, that's all they have, not much to ask of our world beating management team is it?

If your defenders stand there watching it, with their mouths open, after you've talked about it all week, or let a player run 50 yards through the centre, without standing in front of him, or kicking his legs out, there is little you can do about it from the stand.

Palace front players were not easy to defend against & we did ok v them, so hopefully the lesson is learned plus we should be able to nick a few at the other end.

Leicester think we are pushovers now, & will likely raise their game expecting us to cave in, so it would be nice to correct that idea.

Last few games against Leicester we have struggled, the one at their place this season was one of our worst performances of the campaign. They seem to have hit some form again recently also, so I think this will be the toughest game of our remaining fixtures. Hopefully we will turn up like against Palace, if we do, I fancy us to win. This seems the most likely game where we might drop points though.

When yer get into yer seventh decade of supporting City there is an extremely long list of things and people who thoroughly piss you off. One of the things that currently grates is the idea that more than a penny of my licence fee goes into he pockets of people like D. Murphy. If the BBC ever had a mission statement that included 'to entertain and enlighten' then the employment of Danny Boy firmly puts the boot into that idea.
I know what you mean. Have been supporting City since 1950's. Not the correct Thread BUT - switched on BBC5Live this morning before 8-00am
and I thought it was a Rags Love in - Maureen this and Maureen that, RB was sensational - young Kid , and then the Journo. who was speaking happened to say
he had been following Rags for last 18 years. Then has the gaul to say finishing below City in the PL would be a greater achievement because of all the injuries Rags have suffered. I then switched the f*ckin' Radio OFF.

If I have learnt one thing in all my years on this earth, it is this: always expect the unexpected, assume nothing, things always turn out contrary to expectations. Thus, if Leicester is "our hardest remaining game", as it seems logically to be, then take it from me that one of the others (albeit improbably) will in reality turn out to be the most difficult.
If we can avoid being caught out by the long ball over the top of our defence for Vardy to run on to, we might find Foxes an easier nut to crack than the others.
Football - and especially City - has the capacity endlessly to surprise us (notice how I avoided a split infinitive).
