Let's just enjoy fans being back this season eh guys?
Thought the young lads did well especially second half. Think Odozie for me has the much greater potential on what I have seen Pre-season.I thought overall we were the better team. Not bad considering we have so many out. Edozie has talent but I think Palmer has that something special, much better on the left of the centre after Gundo went off. Not sure Torres is going to make a striker, he can finish but is not involved most of the time. It will be a tough start to the season so if we can be undefeated until everyone gets back that will be a success.
You mean the fat one, right?Youngsters not good enough.
Grealish not a 100mln player.
Rodri too fat.
Ake back to Bournemouth.
Mahrez played like walking in the Algerian desert
Din too old
We need Kane.
And Haaland.
And Messi.
And Ronaldo.
And David Silva.
Sack Pep.
If we don’t sign a striker we won’t win the league imoBy 'familiar tale' do you mean the one that ends with us winning the league ... again?
Leicester, Chelsea and the Dippers all away in Sept. Need to be in rhythm by then.Totally controlled in from 30 minutes on. They created nothing from that point onwards. Poor finishing by Mahrez and Gundog and the mistake by Ake cost us. Thought we played all the football in that game.
Several players look well short of fitness not surprisingly.
Pep's job is to keep us in touch with the pacesetters till October/November when hopefully everyone is back and up to speed.
I know we cant question the manager but it proves counter productive. Gundo said in an interview after CL loss against Chelsea " manager changed the formation for final and it shouldn't be". It's a problem when they or anyone doesn't voice it . Yes pep knows the best but players don't feel comfortable when they have to do that. This happened against Lyon as well. With all due respect, you are in no position to tell the best manager in the world how to pick a team and play football. This insistence that Pep should listen to us just comes across as disrespect considering the success he's brought us and the best football we will ever witness.
Onto the game - rusty and sloppy which should be expected considering who we have available and how much they've played against a team that will probably line up that way for most of the season. Steffen I thought was good as was Ake, I think its looking like it'll be a bit of a rough few weeks until the regulars are put back in and get fit.
Enjoy your weekend blues.
Aye, looked a bit jaded for sure.Mahrez was fucked and needed subbing
Yeah, just needs time to familiarise himself and learn our patterns of play.Grealish settled in really well. Guaranteed starter next week
