More minutes in the legs, no injuries and the academy lads had a taste of a game against tougher opponents.

Despite being behind in terms of fitness/sharpness, the team made Leicester work hard.

The lads are not there yet. Quite a lot of overhit passes today. Nonetheless, they’ll get there but it will possibly be a very slow start.

It was ok. Considering our pre season it was probably actually pretty good.

nothing to get excited about, nor depressed about.

just remember, defenders are going to have Grealish, KDB, Foden and a rejuvenated Sterling running at them while (hopefully) getting wrestled about by Kane who is one of the best at moving deep and creating space for runners.

this season is going to be fun!

Given our line up I can‘t say I’m surprised at the result.

Have to say though if all season every match we play we have commentators coming out with all this negative shite again be no sound on for all games

I bloody love it!

I don’t want to be liked, or given fair balanced or positive coverage… not by the commentators or pundits or other sets of fans. I don’t want fake adulation through gritted teeth. I want to be given as much shit and negativity as they can possibly throw at us… I never ever want to be a mainstream club. Never.

I always want City to stay ‘alternative’, a sub-culture, a club that the masses hate. I love it!

Every bit of negativity aimed at us makes me smile, because it makes our winning that bit more sweet knowing all the people who don’t like us will be squirming and gutted!
