Leicester (N) - Community Shield | Post-Match Thread

Last minute losses for Lions and City. This is not a good Saturday

Lee Dixon is a ****
Rodris fault.
Palmer has potential
Rodri gave Ake a fucking good old hospital pass, till then he had a decent game
Cut our own throat could see it happening throughout the game

Liecester were much quicker on the 2nd ball & it's same old City pre season to many to get fit

Torres I'm afraid looks a totaly different kid for Spain not sure what the fook he did today

Can do with him going out for regular game time he won't play in this squad on a regular basis

Thought we were poor in the central midfield area

Pre season a few younger ones playing but we have to be better final 3rd it was poor

We need to get HK & quick

So, out of the 4 pre-season friendlies ... we won 3 and lost 1 ... due to a penalty.

We're doomed!

Do you think they are mostly young or newish fans maybe?
Sense of entitlement from some is shocking..
I once sat in front of a bloke in his 70s who did nothing but slag off David Silva - David fucking Silva. Young and newish fans don't use forums!

All last season, Grealish gets touched and it’s a FK, put on a City shirt and he’s allowed to be scythed down without punishment.
We all knew this would happen given the clear bias against us by officials. He has been the most fouled player 2 years running and won even be in the top half now playing for us.

A brief post match perusal on Twitter has led me to one conclusion. Some Villa fans are being total twats. It’s like that game was the champions league final and that was our first team.

For what it’s worth I think we did well but it did highlight the need for Kane or one of his ilk. Edozie would have been better had that been at the CFA but the occasion got to him. Grealish looked like a player who had had one training session but that’s to be expected because he’s only had one training session!

Disappointed we didn’t get a pot but I’m not unhappy with the performance. Well done to Kelechi. Kept it classy with his muted celebration too.

Need to be on it next week from the get go. Simply not acceptable to not play our strongest 11 whether players are unhappy or not. Pep needs to manage it.
Players being unhappy doesn’t matter to me. Unless someone comes in with the £££££ then they can stay unhappy and play their part. They are pro’s being paid a shit load of money and need to earn it.

I wouldn’t let Laporte go. Our cover is not good enough in that position.
