Small margins. one mistake by Rodri/Ake. we lacked cohesion and fitness so it’s difficult to criticise. Pleased for Ian, showed humility when he scored. Sorry for Ake as he defended well other than the challenge.
the only thing I was disappointed about was Mahrez in the last 15 minutes. Decided he had worked hard enough and downed tools.

Much improved second half, didnt think Leicester looked like scoring. Shame to lose like that but that was no where near our first team.

Fitness exercise and we were lagging behind. Let's hope spurs aren't as far ahead as Leicester. We looked like that was the first game back not a week away from the first game.

Defensively were alright and have reinforcements to come, going forward though we have just jesus and sterling who couldn't get a look in last season to come back, looking light.

Actually fielded a stronger team than I thought. Kids looked abit out of depth and first half some senior players weren’t great. Mahrez flagged very early, that chance being the best example.

They were full strength after a full pre season so was always going to be a bit sharper. Just a shit way to lose.

This is the reality, clearly there was no penalty, but because it was us, it wasn’t even challenged by VAR. I wish there was a re-run where Leicester were in that situation against the Scum, or the Dippers, or the Chavs. We have to get Messi, God and the Pope, never mind Kane, to have any chance of fair play next season.

The Boys in Blue didn’t give in, they fought to the end. It’s only the first game of the season and we haven’t got John Boy or Kyle back yet! ;-)

I thought we did ok in the second half but I hope that Grealish realises that he can’t go down for fouls this season he won’t get them! He’s going to need to practice getting out of the way or jumping over the opposition player’s feet! ;-)
