Do you not remember last season?

Our first scheduled game of the season, against Villa at home, had to be moved because none of our players were fit enough after being involved in the August Champions League knockouts.

We had to play ourselves in a closed-doors friendly because we hadn't been able to organise any other games, not even against teams in the local area like Stockport or Preston.

We didn't sign Ruben Dias until September 29th and started the season with Tommy Doyle, Liam Delap and Adrian Bernabe on the bench.

So yeah, we have definitely been less prepared for a season than this one, haha.
Think I have blanked all of that from my memory! Lol

It’s nothing to do with the club.
It’s either one free test taken at home or showing an app on your phone for entry. It’s hardly the krypton factor is it?
It’s an app that’s only available if you have an English postcode - for recording either a negative test or proof of vaccination, so for some of us it’s not quite as straightforward

Not impressed. I put in for tickets for me & my kids through the OSC. They have announced the extra criteria for entry today so I told them I don't want the tickets anymore. I'm being told the tickets were allocated yesterday so can't make any amendments.

It seems poor form to announce extra criteria the day after you can make amendments.
Your kids only need a lateral flow test mate its free and not that hard to have done.

Double jabbed and proof of a negative test

I'll be going ... but it will put a hell of a lot of people off

The turnout would be low as it is as a lot of people don't feel ready to go back just yet and it appears that it will be a second string playing as well
No mate it's either or not both. :-)

Confirmed earlier in the thread club said this is fine too

Good I have the top one on my phone.

Managed to get my request withdrawn. The OSC didn't know about the extra criteria for entry as they hadn't been told. So thanks to them for sorting that out for me.

If you only need a lateral flow test, how do they ensure you are putting in the correct results on the app? What's to stop someone from not using the test and just putting that it was negative?

Its not infallible I suppose but there's a barcode on the test result, we submit them twice a week for work purposes.

Lucky to sell 1/3 of our allocation with all those hurdles you have to get over
I have been double jabbed and support vaccination 100 per cent. But apparently I can visit a crowded shopping centre or packed pub with no questions asked but to attend a football match I need to prove I have been jabbed or have a negative test result. That's assuming I can afford the £100 plus limited train service on a Saturday night. No thanks. Football fans are still being treated with contempt.

Can’t see many blues going to this, might be wrong
Be interesting to see. High train fares and late kick off will put a lot off I would imagine. I personally am not going as it’s just a nothing game for me and doesn’t justify the cost. I went to the one at Villa Park which was decent but it was all pretty new then. Not been to one since then.

So, I currently have covid and I'm isolating at home until Monday (2nd).

I'm led to believe that you can't do an LFT for 90 days after a positive covid PCR test as it most likely will still say positive, so I can't take one to get me in at Wembley.

I've only had 1 jab (second one was meant to be today - sod's law or what) so that can't get me in.

Am I absolutely snookered here and won't be going, despite looking forward to it for ages, or does anyone know of ways around this? I'd like to think the club/Wembley have planned for situations like this but that might be being a bit optimistic.

Hoping some of you bright sparks might know the best plan of action to getting in. Otherwise I'll have to ring the club and I really, really don't want to do that after reading the season ticket thread.

Cheers

You can order lateral flow tests from "Order coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid lateral flow tests - GOV.UK" https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests
They usually arrive the next day. You self report via the NHS app, which you need to download. Once you reported the result you get an email and text, which is then your proof. All straightforward!
We pick ours up from the local chemist if they are the same ones. They just give them to you if you ask

Not sure that’s right mste

my lad had Covid last week. His 10 days quarantine finished at midnight on Thursday
