£25 a ticket , chance to see Grealish make his debut , chance to see Cole Palmer and a few of Citys young guns against a top premier league team , chance to see the champions live at Wembley , the first time for many in over 18 months..I for one am looking forward to it , yes the kick off times crap and yes its a glorified pre season freindly , but the last time we played in the Charity shield against the scousers it certainly didnt feel like a friendly ... Remember the first rule of Charity Shield.. its only a glorified pre season friendly if we lose , its the first major trophy of the new season if we win..

Bob on and as for tickets for the Spuds. It will sell out once it gets below 10,000 points

Half the top tier yet to go on sale and half of the bottom tier still unsold. Going by that and the fact that almost all the open blocks at the moment have gone (apart from around 800) probably sold about 12,000. Not going to look great in the ground.
Leicester, on their site have opened all blocks, so even if they don't sell out, there will be sprinkling of fans everywhere rather than empty blocks.
How do you know half the top tier are yet to go on sale, as they are greyed out like blocks that have sold?....

The central blocks (501, 502 I think?) were on sale right up to the top of the top tier

Not on our website but that’s not to say they will be empty. The Powers that be have deemed this a full capacity game so they will probably give thousands of tickets away and use it as a test event.
I hope so. Would rather be at a full Wembley!

I absolutely hate this game and only risks injury to important players for no reason at all. Of course players can get injured in any 'friendly' but the fact that this is at Wembley and is transmitted to a world wide audience means that some players will be keen to show how competitive they are and put in tackles that other pre season games might not see.

I'm in East Stand Level 3 and I'm sure I could get 30 lads down in landan on Saturday to protect our lads in front of Spurs next week.

Tomorrow's the day...takes almost no extra time to enter than predicting teams in this thread.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS 15.15.
