good idea, I was thinking about boyata at rb too, but we already play a winger at lb sometimes so..... :)

Either could do a job if Navas plays in front of them,he is fairly diligent when it comes to defensive duties.Would'nt like to see Zaba pick up a knock with the games over christmas coming up.

I'd have Milner as our back up right back as well as every other position he can play..

IF Liverpool can use Flanegan or Kelly as a back up fullbacks in the LEAGUE, why can't we use one of our EDS player to play in the Capital One ?

Hope to see Rodwell, Jovetic and Lopes start with Milner in a central midfield role.

Wonder if Guidetti will get on the bench, be good if we got to see him play.

Important to keep the current good run going and progress to the Semi-Final.

Lopes and Guidetti played for the EDS today so probably not

Lopes only played the first half, so presuming it wasn't down to injury he should be on the bench at the least. Guidetti had 70 minutes so perhaps another bench place if we start with Jovetic & Djeko?

I agree, how are we ever going to see if we have talent in our youth system if we are also reluctant to play them in a decent senior league game?
