Zabaleta can't play every game and with Richards out we have to take every opportunity to rest him because there wont be many.
Boyata at right back.
hope not

This wont be easy, Dyer and Knockaert have the ability to cause us a lot problems at the back, strong back 4 needed for this game.

Completely agree.
We cannot afford to put out second strings and expect to walk this one
I have watched Leicester this season and they are no pushover.
Don't buy this stuff about them not putting their first team out. I bet they will give us a game and would like to see us take control before resting any first teamers and bringing on EDS players..

The game of their lives for many of them, regardless of the managers thoughts......i expect most of the players will see this fixture as having a greater importance than the QPR game.I expect a highly charged Leicester outfit and it will not be at all easy.

As I said earlier, only having one reliable right back and a similar issue in defensive midfield, will soon catch up with us if we cant find a answer.

I want to win this trophy,i hope we don't take the game and competition lightly.

They have to prioritise competitions as well.

QPR at the weekend is a big a game for them as Arsenal at home was for us

I think they will play their strongest team, but I am sure the question of whether to rest players will have been on Nigel Pearson's mind and their fan's mind. Getting into the Premiership is huge, and they have a good chance this time round

Think he should pair Rodwell/Fernandinho and interchange Garcia/ Toure throughout the game. Maybe pair Lopes /Nasri and get the game dusted quickly. We don't want or need a repeat of Newcastle where we played too much of an experimental side and ultimately forced ourselves into playing longer than was necessary.

We could quite easily lose this game if we don't take it seriously. The players have been focussing on Bayern Munich and Arsenal, not the League Cup so this is a test for the manager, and the professionalism of those who get selected. Chelsea will be up for it at Sunderland, and they have an overload of midfield players to pick from

A lot of football fans think City have a great squad, but the truth is that without the key players we'll find it very difficult to break down a very committed Championship team. I'd rather we were playing a lower League Premiership team who would be more interested in staying up than a team who will be inspired by the occasion.
