Team picks itself after yesterday with the likes of Kompany,Yaya,Jovetic,Lampard and Silva not involved or getting a few minutes.

Hart
Zaba
Mangala
Kompany
Clichy
Fernandinho
Yaya
Lampard
nasri
Silva
Jovetic

I think it might be wiser to rotate less and start with the same core of players that have been doing so well in the last few weeks. In that way we can nurse in the injured rather than risk them all by starting them.

Probably get slaughtered for this but anybody else think we should leave Kompany on the bench (presuming he's fit)? MDM and Mangala have played the last 2 games together and have kept 2 clean sheets and we've looked the most solid we've looked all season at the back. (also credit due to both Clichy and zaba, a settled back 4 makes so much difference) Now I'm not suggesting Kompany spends any kind of lengthy time on the bench, i just don't think either of them deserve to be dropped after the last 2 games and it might do Kompany some good knowing he can't automatically walk into the side when fit. Only question i'd have would be whether MDM is fit enough for 3 games in a week.

Only worry i have for Saturday is how much rotating Pellegrini does, particularly at the back. I can see him bringing in Sagna, Kolarov and Kompany, 3 changes from the back 4 is rarely a good idea.

Might see a few changes with a few tired legs from last night

Hart

Sagna
Vinny
Mangala
Clichy

Fernandinho
Yaya

Silva
Navas
Nasri

Jovetic

Give Merlin the second half for Lamps!

This all day for me !! The team is about as "fresh" a it can be, maybe Milner for Navas but I can't argue

Subs bench ....
Zaba
Milner
Demichelis
Fernandinho
Silva
Nasri
Cabellero

Leicester are on a horrific run of form, so this should be comfortable if we play to our best.

We get an early goal and they'll crumble.

Hope Dzeko can get a goal, we really need an in-form Dzeko this next 4-6 weeks.

Definitely shouldn't take this game easy. Leicester at home can be a tricky team and we should fight as we would against playing any team away. Too important a game for us to slip now.

Can't belive what I'm reading. Why are people getting so complacent. Yes we've been on a great run and yes they've been on a terrible run. Therefore everyone should know this game is going to be anything but easy.

You know they're going to be well up for it, just like they were against United. I'm going for a frustrating 1-1 draw.

Hope I'm wrong , mind

Completely agree, as it happens. It ain't broke. Why fix it? There was too much rotation in that back line for the first two months. MDM looks totally comfortable. He doesn't play a haring around type of game anyway, much more based on positional canniness, so I reckon he can handle this third game in a week. Give Vinny a nice rest, bring him in next week. I'd be somewhat surprised if we don't win this - this team feels untouchable at present, nothing could be clearer - but this is City after all. Banana skins have not been phased out by the evolutionary process. Not yet, anyway.

Depending on injuries and how players have recovered from last nights game. I would actually look at giving Pozo a run out in this game. IF we start with Dzeko up front with Pozo and easying back Jovetic into the team like Dzeko in the long term we would be better off. Who knows the lad might get a goal too.
My line up if all is fit.

Hart
Kolarov , Vinny , Mangala , Sagna
Milner , Fernado , Yaya , Nasri
Pozo , Dzeko

Subs
Willy
MDM
Zab
Lampard
Jovetic
Silva
Fernandhino

Strong would even swap Silva for Nasri if Silva is totally fully fit but best to ease him back into the team so Nasri plays.
Pozo will more than likely miss out for Jovetic but get this lad some playing time as both Dzeko and Jovetic havnt scored many goals this season.

Be interesting to see how much we do rotate. Notice a few people have got Sagna, Kompany and Kolarov to come in at the back - that's too many changes for me, just as we beginning to find consistency.

We have to rotate in this match. 2 days recovery is not enough, so changes have to be made.

Hart
Sagna Kompany Mangala Kolarov
Fernandinho Yaya Toure
Milner Silva Jovetic
Dzeko

6 changes. Give Zabaleta, Nasri and Clichy some rest as they have played very often lately. Yaya is fresh from suspension. We can't underestimate Leicester but that lineup should win that match comfortably if they are up for it.

With only 2 fit strikers we have alternate them. Dzeko has just played 80 mins after returning from a long lay off si I`d start Jojo this time. If Kompany requires a fitness test its a no brainer, don`t risk him with a busy Xmas period. The big question, is does Manuel start Silva?
And also there is no midweek game next week.

Hart
Sagna MDM Mangala Aleks
Silva Fern1 Fern2 Milner
Yaya
Jojo

Evening gents Leicester fan in peace here. Fantastic result for you guys tonight in Rome, apart from the first 15 minutes in the first half I thought you guys looked comfortable and scored a couple of well worked goals.

Getting onto Saturday's game like many other Leicester fans I don't expect anything and will be happy if we keep you down to under 5 goals. We've not been hammered so far this season but we're fearing the worst for Saturday. Since we beat your enemies back in September we've only picked up 2 points in 10 games , confidence is low and some "fans" are calling for Pearsons head unfortunately.

Anyway hope you enjoy your visit to the King Power and if any of you are coming up there's a few pubs in Aylestone that will have the early kick off on. There's also a working men's club that is run by a Man City fan who opens up and lays some food on for you.

Welcome fella, Do you want Pearson out? Anyone that picks Schlupp ahead of Konackhart(sp?) deserves the boot. Been gutted about how bad Cambiasso has been, in part due to Pearson playing him alongside someone as useless Dean Hammond.

P.S Kasabian should have retired after the second album, although I was signing the chorus to "Stevie" to a Stevie on Saturday full of Stella and cocaine.
