i honestly think we will see a lot of rotation.

both fullbacks will be changed as zabba has played all games since the bayeyn one and clichy even before that

fernandinho should be good to go though as he was rested on the weekend. same with yaya so expect those 2 to start in CM

striker is also simple as dzeko looked really tired in the second half and jovetic has had almost 2 full games off in the last 3 ones so he will lead the line.

attacking midfield is the difficult one. all 3 of milner, nasri and navas have played all games recently working their socks off, they should really be jaded. silva is probably not fit enough to start. i'll probably start with those 2 of those 3 alongside lampard, and bring silva and dzeko in the hour mark and fernando at 75.

I don't want us to rush back the likes of Kompany and Silva, just ease them in slowly. Mangala and Demi are good right now as is Nasri.

Getting Edin scoring will be key for his confidence, hopefully Jovetic can play a part again too.

These remaining games in December look a piece of piss but we know anything can happen, buzzing about our recent form though.

Give Merlin the second half for Lamps!

This all day for me !! The team is about as "fresh" a it can be, maybe Milner for Navas but I can't argue

Subs bench ....
Zaba
Milner
Demichelis
Fernandinho
Silva
Nasri
Cabellero
I think James and Navas have played a lot, so yes maybe they can be changed in the second half. On the other hand I believe
Lampard needs to be playing and keeping those great performances, and game time is the only solution for that.

The way that MDM has been playing, and Mangala last night, I'd give Kompany another week off if necessary - I'm sure that, now that set of games including Roma is very successfully out of the way, he won't be rushed back. I just can't wait to watch them again, whatever team he puts out! The games can't come quickly enough, and on such a great run, I'm sure that the players will be feeling exactly the same.

Why do I get the feeling we are going to play against a Leicester team putting in one of their games of the season??

We are in good form though and hopefully we won't see any complacency.

I think we will see some rotation as well.

Too much rotation tends to backfire on us especially at the back and there is a week off after this one, this team is on a roll so those who are not tired/injured should play imo

I don't want to see too much rotation either but Demichelis should be given a rest and Navas and possibly Nasri.

The lads have a full week off thanks to our tactical slip up in the League Cup...

Full steam ahead. Give Kompany another week. Give Silva 35 minutes.

Hart
Zaba Demichellis Mangala Clichy
Ya Ya. Fernandinho
Navas. Nasri. Milner
Jovetic.

Dzeko las 30 Jovetic.
Lampard for Nasri
Silva for Navas.

Give Kolarov, Kompany more time.

Everyone with a full weeks rest, then back at it for a hectic festive period.

The only one Id be happy with rotating is Sagna for Zabba. Keep Gael in, his form is so good at the moment. Very happy with the central defense. We can afford to give Vinny a little more time.

According to their squad on wiki, their only other keeper is a guy called Ben Hamer who they signed from Charlton, previously played for Exeter, Brentford and Crawley so that can only help us?

I'd rotate more than that. Wednesday night was a huge effort and I'd be surprised if those who played 90 minutes on Wednesday night aren't a bit leggy on Saturday.

I would go

Hart

Sagna Kompany Mangala Kolarov

Lampard Yaya

Nasri Jovetic Silva

Dzeko

That however assumes the four players who have just come back from injury are all capable of playing for 90 minutes if necessary. Only the club medical staff will know that. Even so I would look to bring on Jimmy/Jesus for Nasri/Silva for the last 20-30 minutes, and maybe give Pozo another run out if Dzeko is flagging - alternatively Ferna for Dzeko and push Yaya up behind Jovetic

I think there'll be a bit of rotation too. Emotionally, after a game like last night, there can be a come down with a game just three days later. Some fresh legs will be seen.

I think both full backs might need a rest. I believe full backs complete the most sprints in a game, that can take its toll game-after-game. Yaya will go straight in. Silva may get a half. Jovetić possibly last fifteen again.

I agree, should always play Sunday after a Euro away on a Wednesday really. Schmeichel is a big miss for them but they are scrappers.

Bad news is he's only started 1 Premiership game and Leicester won it, that means his win ratio is 100%.

5-1 Leicester.

Joe

Sagna
Mangala
MDM
Clichy

Milner
Yaya
Dinho
Frank
Nasri

Dzeko

Look to give Silva 30mins Jovetic 20 and Aleks 10 if all well.

2-0 us.
