Leicester Vs City Post Match Thread

Fernando and Sagna always seem to start nervously for us but grow into it. Toure worked hard in the second half and won a few great defensive headers from corners and free kicks. The "pundits" on my stream were saying Mangala was a liability and very slow at half time which was bizarre, apart from some loose passing he was strong. Lampard signing of the season.

Not a great watch, but we keep in there and hopefully will get better again. No midweek football
for a while, so a bit more time to get players fit.

a weeks rest now for the players then we can re group and smash palace 4-0 to go top for the weekend as the chavs play on Monday at Stoke

I would take 3 more 1-0's with the injuries we have.

Our so called horrendous defence have now conceeded 1 goal in the last 5 games. That's the bit we were missing early season. Much better now.

We never seem to play that well when Sagna starts.

Zab and Fernandinho been two of our best players in recent games and surprised to see both rested today.

It was though painful viewing and I thought the players game management in the final furlong was again poor. We made brain dead decisions and gave away soft free kicks; with the players we had out there, we should have done a better job of playing keep ball.
Good job I'm not the manager as that irritates the hell out of me and I would be going ballistic in the technical area. So many poor decisions when all we need to do is keep it simple, keep the ball and stop giving away stupid, unnecessary free kicks.

Not a great performance but deserved win in the end don't think Leicester ever troubled Joe that much, They put the pressure on towards the end but I thought we saw it out well and got the three points.

Mangala had a good game today getting better and better with every game and he was my MOTM, Hopefully Kompany injury isn't too bad but he did walk off and didn't need a stretcher.
