Leighton Baines (& definitely not Isco)

It is not like I`ve never seen a player snub us before. I`ve seen crappy players snub us for crap Clubs. Mido springs to mind.

But when I see Isco in a Madrid shirt I will puke

Isco on his dog called Messi: "I also had another dog called Figo"

lol
This guy has to be brain-damaged. He is just licking their bums so they forget his anti-Madrid comments.

He's fucking shite anyway, Nasri shits all over him, if he was any good then he would be in the Spanish big team and not the lil kiddie team.

Isco: "Manuel Pellegrini wanted me at Manchester City, but when I saw Real Madrid's interest in me was serious I didn't think twice"

Nor would most players probably. It remains to be seen whether he'll be a success with Real Madrid but there's no guarantee that he would have been at City either.
You have to look at that Madrid midfield, with the likes of Modric, Ozil, Di Maria, Alonso, Khedira, Kaka, Callejon and another new signing Casemiro from Santos and wonder how much first team football Isco will get. Sure, he'll get some, but he'll need to get used to spending more time on the bench than he did last season, and certainly more than he'd have had at City.

If a player choses Real over City, especially a Spanish player, then you can't really argue with their choice, Madrid are still a far bigger name in World football than we are. The galling thing about the whole Isco saga is that it seems he's gone back on his word to join City and that the stumbling block here was the financial greed of his representative, who also happened to be his father. Isco could find, in 2 or 3 seasons, that his dad's avarice has adversely affected his career development at a key age, to the point where his "peak" will never be as high as it could have been.

Isco is by far better than than Nasri has ever been for us.

How good has Isco been for us? Or Madrid for that matter.

Can't really say Isco is far better at this stage I dont think.

At Malaga he has played far better than Nasri has for us.

Ok - better than Nasri did for Arsenal?

Wasn't too interested in Nasri at Arsenal but from memory probably not but different kind of player back then position/role wise.

Good luck, Isco, sad you didnt come here this time. A bit of me is hoping youll flop so youll come here in January, you sexy beast hahaha

Absolutely not... Isco is just as inconsistent as any of ours. He hasn't yet proved to be able to do a whole season at a high level.

Yes he's extremely talented but he ain't what we need. His preferd position is second striker or playmaker and we've really got enough of those.

We need one more left winger (G.Bale type even though He hasn't been playing this position recently) and we also need a striker to make up for Tevez departure : I hope we can get Cavani.

Franc isco :-) Thats far from over also ...

Same guy who tweeted we'll break the british transfer record twice soon. WUM.

Real clearly showing their intent with Isco with a 5 year deal. If there was anything more to it they wouldn't be showing him off like a show pony either.

Rumours out there that Baines will put pen to paper on a new contract extension at Everton.

If true, and assuming we land Jovetic, this is a fantastic amount of snubbing going on at the rag camp.

So despite having an "unlimited transfer fund" United say that they will not be going over £12m for Baines.

I reckon we should stick a £15m bid in and see what happens. Would be a great addition and would piss the rags off no end.

Win, win.
