Leighton Baines (& definitely not Isco)

If we got Baines I can't see how we could keep him and Clichy happy. Can't see it personally.
Gael is pro to the bone. Full backs is used to rotation. We are looking at 60 plus games this season. No probs

Get a bid in for Baines and Fellaini now. Don't give a shit about the 'snubbed City' headlines. Lets create a false bidding war and watch the Rags panic buy. Baines would be a great signing for them but Fellaini? If Carlsbeg did signings for them.........

be surprised if baines signed for moyes, he doesn t like him

Brilliant.

Players either don't like him or don't know who he is. Rags will end up with fellaini and a couple of punts on 'the next ronaldo'.

This is turning out to be the best summer window ever...

"Finally, stop me if you’ve heard this
one before… City are reported to be
interested in Isco...

Of course the playmaker’s move to join Real Madrid was one of the major transfer stories of the summer, with media outlets reporting that Isco turned down a move to City in the process.

Well, SportsDirect News reckon that Manuel Pellegrini may well try and get his man again in the January transfer window while the Spanish international struggles to dislodge Gareth Bale from the team."

“The Chilean has since received word from Spain that the 21-year-old is already fed-up with life at the Bernabeu, and could now be regretting his decision,” Hugh Soutter writes.

“Isco started the season in impressive form and felt a move to Real would also enhance his claims to go to next summer's World Cup finals with Spain.

“But Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has altered the formation of his forward line in recent games to accommodate Gareth Bale - leaving Isco on the sidelines.

“City refused to go higher than £21m for the 21-year-old but sources have indicated they would still be interested if both Madrid and the player are now ready to go their separate ways.”

Between this and the links with Edinson Cavani the other day, it's as if 2013 never happened.

I didn't even notice that I was caught up in that glimmer of hope.

Dammit.

Perfect Idea to sign him. He will give us the cutting edge against poor teams like Sunderland, of course if you disregard the fact that his Everton side drew with Palace this weekend.

Considering Silva is out, Isco is the perfect substitute.

Nasri has been good this season but can't even compete with Silva, he's more direct but can't create the chances Silva can and Isco would.

Plus, Isco rhymes with Disco.

Balls to baines. Way shy of world class. About to turn 20. Swerve

He is a decent player, but i think that there are better options that we will pursue. Baines will also be 29 later in the year and I know a few everton fans who say if they could hold the scum to the last minute to up the price of baines then they would be happy to see him go - i am not saying that every everton fan is thinking this, just the few that I know.

Gollum has already spunked £27m on a very clumsy, slow midfielder in fellaini, let him throw another stupid amount on another player i say

He's gonna have to pay top dollar now for anybody! The notion of players turning up and being happy to don the devil' scarlet waistcoat for a pittance are over.

Daily ToryGraph today - Headlines you won't read this week: MATA - It was the chance to play for Moyes that convinced me!!

Baines Snubs Unit*d.

Well none of the papers....or $ky.......or Talkshite wanted to do a headline so I thought I would.

Baines snubs Rags and states he is not prepared to go there simply for the money but would rather stay at Everton and challenge for Champions League. Baines said I was not prepared to go backwards in my career and join a struggling team, money isn't everything I would rather stay at Everton and challenge for the top honours in the game. If I had gone to the Rags I could have doubled my salary but I would have been perceived to have become a mercenary, I had 10 years under Wee Davey who is a good manager, but his training methods are from the Jurassic Era of training and with Roberto all the Everton players are benefiting from the latest and modern training techniques.
