No disrespect but i'm 100% certain that he's not here to 'f..k around' at all. Not sure why you'd think that he would be.

No disrespect but what are you on about mate haha?
I never said he was...

I think you took the tense and tone in what I said wrong,
Suppose there are two ways 'after all' can be perceived at the end of a sentence..

I think if we managed to get Bonucci then Mangala would leave.
Fair do's Rick. Your probably right, From Pep's point of view he has to hit the ground running, so can carry no passengers, as it were, but, given the fact that he's still fairly young, I really would like to see Mangala retained.

I know he was poor for for the most part last year, but those games against Chelsea, really did show he has all the tools to be a top player, given the right guidance.

Hopefully, post Pellegrini, our midfield will be a bit more compact this year, and not continue leaving the opposition enough space for half a dozen double decker buses to drive through, on the counter attack, every time we lose the ball in the top third, Which, in my opinion, is the main reason the back 4, as a whole, looked so shaky last season.

I feel for Mangala a little. Young lad who came for a big fee and had a few bad/nervous games and next thing he is written off by the media which seems to snowball to the fans.

He has played some good games but they get overlooked, even ignored. A bit like how Sterling has been treated.

Can Pep not do anything with him, £32m (at least) seems a lot to just give up on. With the negativity we are only getting half that back at best.

I remember when he first arrived and bossed the Chelsea game..part of me still thinks he has something..maybe it's wishful thinking

I dont think its just the games where he has made horrendous errors in bud, he just looks so easy to play against
He has all the natural attributes to he an utter brute and world class CB, but his positioning and technical ability is absolutely awful and you're right its almost upsetting because he puts his absolute all into each game

He will really struggle (In my opinion only of course) to take on board the amount of information Pep gives his players and implement it into a game that already seems a bit too complicated for him

One thing that does stand out to me and those around us in the ground, for a big lad he is really poor and weak in the air 1v1.
I remember burnley on boxing day (?!) a while back where they came from 2 down to draw 2-2 and they totally focussed on sending long straight balls up to ashley barnes to compete with Mangala and EM didnt win a single thing that day and it seriously cost us. The last goal was a knockdown from which I seem to recall he didnt win the first ball
Again, that wasnt a game people will remember for bad errors from him, but hes just simply not consistently good enough. Compare that to bonucci...

Stop undervaluing your assets so much. Hes a top defender for most mid-table clubs; Not working out at an elite club doesnt mean you are valued next to nothing! He is young, has all attributes for a defender, had a great performance late in the season, even in a high-stakes game in CL QF; dont think he should be valued less than 25m tbh! Every asset sale is not a distress sale pls! If City can do w/o him, doesnt mean he is a distressed asset!

Mangala is only good against the bigger attackers, against the small pacey tricksters he looks lost.

Wait, wait, wait. Can we stop talking about the Mangler on here? Every time I see the thread bumped I get excited for more Bonucci chat and leave disappointed.

David Amoyal just tweeted there's been no news on Bonucci for a while, which is bizarre given there's been plenty of news on Bonucci today alone. Unless he's saying GDS and other sources are making this all up.

Is there any chance Juve selling both Pogba and Bonucci in the same window. Rags are getting giddy again as they seem to think there is progress with Pogba.

Should be summat along the lines of a "let's av it out" thread,so anyone going off topic gets told to fuckoff in that thread and argue the toss all day long!

He says,going off topic.

Not exactly. I was asked last night if either were going to Arsenal!!

We would have loaned Mangala out to Valencia last summer if he hadn't refused.

Mangala would defo be out the door.
Would his agent being Mendes have any bearing on that decision Tolm?

Is it a case of cutting our ties completely with that snake, or any of his clients, now that his loyalties clearly lie with the scum?

You're dead right. If Lovran, Benatia et al are worth £25 million plus, and Koulibali, Stones et al are worth upwards of £40 then Managala is worth plenty still.

No you're right i did take it a different way to how you intended. I took it as you wrote it, rather than how you meant.
