If he is smart he is not going to either Bayern or Real Madrid - that is too early for him. He would e.g. be no. 5 from 5 wingers - so some are injury prone - at Bayern. But even when only one of the others could play Ancelotti might prefer a 4-3-3 with e.g. Ribery, Lewy and Müller and a Vidal, Sanches, Thiago - midfield. The situation at Real is similar.

I think Ribery is past his best now though I am sure he will remain a valuable squad player for you. Carlo is a very likeable personality.

I got the impression from his father's comments about Bayern and Real Madrid being interested, when we now know that Bayern are not in for him. That's what you do when you have not agreed terms for your boy and you want to haggle. I'm just guessing though. Perhaps I should not and just let Txiki and co get on with it. Little bit frustrating when season is closing in fast and we named our touring squad this morning. I am sure gaurdiola would have really like to have Stones and Sane on the plane. But there are lots of parties involved to satisfy. I don;t really know where the log jam is.

I am not a fan of these summer tours to Asia. I know it's business. But the young lad just needs time off for himself. Why the hell should he be on that plane to China? Isn't it just you being impatient? Pep surely wants him at City, not so much in China.

Let's watch the China matches under various aspects and when the lads return from the tour Sané should already be waiting at the front door. :)

China being a huge business opportunity that the club are already building relations and agreements with. What a fantastic place to unveil a new signing!

He still IS with Schalke mate! They made the China tour without EURO involved players Howedes, Embolo, Austrian Schöpf and of course Sané.
3 weeks holiday for the lot. And that is still not enough to recover.

It's not about having him for a few friendly games. Its about having him there for 3 weeks of pre-season training and getting integrated into the squad.

Btw 3 weeks? When do they leave and when do they return? Do you have a detailed schedule of the tour?
