No chance this drags until the end of July never mind end of August. I still expect this to be done before the week is over along with Stones.

I think the Mahrez links are due to a piece which says Leicester are putting the same value on him as Sterling.
Then for some reason everybody reported City want to sign him.

I wouldn't bet on a statement before August. Leroy is on holiday and should be back end of July as Schalke is going on summer tour then where Leroy once was supposed to be part of. Schalke could be interested to close this deal by then too as they have their own plans and time is running.
Will City return from China to Manchester end of July or directly go to Gothenburg to play Arsenal on 7 Aug? Somebody?
I suppose it could be due early August after City's return and yes: I'm no ITK.

I think Sane should get this deal done before City pull out and move on to someone else. We want players who want to play for the club.
If he wants to play for City he has to agree in the next few days otherwise he will miss training and wont start. Pre-season is vital for a new player settling into a new club in a new country with a new manager.

He's already agreed to personal terms with City, I believe. Schalke are playing hardball with asking price.
