Sometimes to me, Sterling's supposed composure looks more like indecisiveness that turns out well. I see him many times take too long making his mind up or too long to get the ball under control, then he attempts to shift the ball onto his right after the defender has faced him up, usually resulting in an easy tackle. Bournemouth were naive and it was early in the season which is maybe why it worked for him, but since then I don't recall defenders selling themselves like that, diving to ground. They now just stay on their feet and take the ball off him as he shifts to the right. It worked fantastic in that one game, but I don't see evidence of an inherent composure that's going to consistently work for him. Just my opinion. But if anyone can get him firing, it's Pep. I'm certainly expecting to see a lot of runs from out to in, with a through ball from any of Gundogan, Yaya, Kev or Silva, resulting in many one on one's.
