Wasn't it like 3-4 weeks ago that Soriano said all our deals are advanced and some players just don't want it announced during Euros etc....(I assume he meant Sane).

Rob Pollard reports in the MEN that negotiations with Schalke have hit a "sticking point" and the two clubs have not yet agreed a fee. Indeed, according to Pollard they are still some way apart. According to Kicker, Pollard reports, Heidel has said, "Either they (City) agree (presumably to Schalke's demands for the fee) or they don't. If Leroy travels with us on the plane to Austria (on Tuesday), he stays." Obviously seems based on the Sky reports, but thoughts please?

Isn't Rob Pollard just a fan who spends a lot of time on Twitter? I'd have thought he would be quite low down the food chain when getting any kind of information regarding our transfer business.

It was also said that we'd wrap up our deals early in the window. Neither have happened and it's now a question if we'll even get our targets at all.
