Leroy Sané

Don't need him anymore we have enough with Leroy
Oh yes we do! Sane is raw and not a proven goalscorer whereas Aubameyang would guarantee you 20 plus goals per season. With Bony gone ( which I am assuming he will be ) we desperately need that extra firepower up front.

So we're going to have Navas, Silva, Nasri, Sterling, De Bruyne, Aguero, Kelechi and potentially Aubameyang fighting for three/four positions next season?

Interesting.

No, we need another goalscorer. Sané and Sterling isn't enough support for Aguero. Swapping Yaya for Gundogan has removed another source of goals.

We need someone who will score 25 a season minimum to take the burden off Sergio, and so we don't completely fall apart when he's injured.
Ineachio?

Yes, However will we replace Bony's bagful of goals? ;)

1) Assuming we're only going to play with one up front, where are we going to find a 25 goal a season player who's generally happy to sit on the bench?
2) Iheanacho

1) Which is why we need a player who can play across the front 3 like Aubameyang, so he can play alongside Sergio as well as instead of him.

2) Iheanacho isn't enough. If Aguero gets injured, the entire goal scoring burden of the team is dumped onto a 19 year old with 8 league goals. I love him, he's got world class potential, but that's a ridiculous situation to put him in.

Leroy alone are not enough.
Kun will not be healthy all season, at some point he will miss a month or two per season.
while inexperience Nacho are still has a lot to learn.
City need another proven goalscorer and compatible with City style of play.
sign another striker, and City are well covered in offensive area in this transfer window.

In order to get the experience Kelechi needs more game time...... He is in the Martial age bracket so let's support him

Agree but you don't spend €70m when you have a world class youngster waiting.

Why the hell not? Even with 3 strikers and a manager hellbent on introducing him as gradually as possible, and stuck as 3rd choice, Kelechi played 35 games last season. He will undoubtedly play more next season.

Added to the fact that Aubameyang and Iheanacho are versatile players, buying one doesn't inhibit the other's progression - particularly not with a manager like Guardiola who will mix and match to get the best out of the squad, and who's got a brilliant track record with young players.

You spend €70m for a player who'll get 30 goals a season and win trophies.
