Doesnt make sense. By the time he has developed into a starter, sterling, roberts, kelechi and brahim will be as good as him, and then there is aguero and auba potentially. I would rather have nolito for half the price

In order to get the experience Kelechi needs more game time...... He is in the Martial age bracket so let's support him

i do support Kelechi. for me he's one of the best young striker in the league.
in fact i'd like the idea of him being a rotation player..
which can play full game, instead playing a bit part player for the last 10 minutes in most games under Pellegrini.

bear in mind, while Martial develop nicely, rag lost 4th place to us due to lack of goals.
the only senior striker they have is just Rooney, who missed load of games through injury.
imagine if we have the same fate and lost Kun for several months..
i failed to see any top club in europe have a young striker leading alone upfront.
all of them have at least 2 senior striker, and i don't rate Bony at all.

Do you think maybe that the reason for delaying some of these announcements might be linked with outgoings? We haven't heard enough links to the players we want to offload, if you try and sell after announcing their replacement then clubs will take the piss with their offers.

Why the hell not? Even with 3 strikers and a manager hellbent on introducing him as gradually as possible, and stuck as 3rd choice, Kelechi played 35 games last season. He will undoubtedly play more next season.

Added to the fact that Aubameyang and Iheanacho are versatile players, buying one doesn't inhibit the other's progression - particularly not with a manager like Guardiola who will mix and match to get the best out of the squad, and who's got a brilliant track record with young players.

You spend €70m for a player who'll get 30 goals a season and win trophies.

Hope you are right! Bought players seem to get more game time than academy graduates.

Agree but you don't spend €70m when you have a world class youngster waiting.

Whilst he may become world class, IMO Nacho still has a lot of developing to do first. I suspect he will be given more opportunity under pep, but currently, I would believe we need a more proven goalscorer, hence our interest in PEA & Sane
