Leroy Sané

He had bad games, but he was never out of form game after game after game. There was never a doubt about his end product. At Bayern, Sane has 5 goals and 3 assists in about 800 minutes, meaning he has contributed to a goal every 100 minutes, not bad isn't it ?
I'm not talking about his form or ability, because even when he was here, there was no doubt about his quality as a player.

I'm referring to his work ethic, or rather lack thereof, which seemed to have followed him to Germany.

Ridiculously over the top from some. Came here and was a central part in our recent success. Scoring the goal v Liverpool, our second at Old Trafford. He's made his bed, but I still wish him the best. It's sad how people have completely dismissed what he did for us.
I think most are just acknowledging that his flaws are still apparent

Playing for Bayern in that one team league, I wouldn’t be too far off. A 43 year old Robben off one leg would get that.

the pain of his agent and people behind sane is why a lot of city fans are not so forgiving even if he won silverware
manchester city got played in the sale of sane to bayern munich and city had know other corner to turn to when he got a ACL and we had to take a below valuation

look with sane he can be world class but the lights are on and nobody is home at times
also when he takes a not knock in a game he goes missing and the defenders know this and kick him out of the game

maybe pep was right and his judgement is spot on ? you need more than talent to be a world class player

Seems to be a Bayern pile on:

Even though I guess Pep criticized Sane privately, but in public, I don't really remember Pep criticized Sane about that specifically? I don't think Pep behaves like those Bayern guys, he left them for some reasons, I think.

Come on, he is playing in a team that has a style much different from what he learned at Manchester City. It takes time for a 24 year old, Bayern hierarchy shouldn't be expecting miracles from him.

Whatever happens there, he was wonderful for us and when we name the best Manchester City XI of the last decade (2017/18-2018/19), he will own that left wing spot.

I always believed he had a very high ceiling to achieve with us, but did not see out the project with us. Could have been even better than [portuguese] Ronaldo
