Leroy Sané

Agree Cancelo and Rodri being prime examples of.people writing them off far to early
Yes. Mahrez and Bernie's threads in their first season as well is good reads. A lot of people's jury is still out on Mahrez. Sane in his first six months didn't look like a footballer. The only two that really hit the ground running was Jesus and Nolito funnily enough

Grealish has followed the same trajectory as any other offensive Pep signing. Glimpses in the start while looking lost in the tactics, then more tactically suited but less impactfull individually as the first season progresses. 2nd season they are usually fully adjusted and understand the system enough to be allowed to express themselves with their ability.

No idea why people never learns with these signings, it is way to early to judge
none so blind as those with an agenda...pile-ons on BM are a regular blight.
David Silva was not built for the prem, Reuben a pound-shop Dunney, " FFS" caught on immediately, Cancelo too slow, yada yada yada. Sniping at Pep is behind some posts, attention-seeking behind others rank stupidity making up the back of the field. Cue the bleating handwringing and paper-thin "we are allowed to criticise a player who is shit", as if anyone had said they weren't. Express an opinion, but don't whinge when others disagree, after all, an "opinion" is what you are judged on be it on a forum or in a pub.

60 million for Mahrez or 100 million for Grealish, or any other fee for any other player should make no difference for anyone on this forum.

I do agree that if he is as ineffective next year there is reason to start writing him off, especially considering his age
He also seems to have interests outside of the game which might be distracting him from fully reaching any potential he might have

Great game against Inter yesterday. Seems to be having a fine start to the season. 8 games - 4 goals , 3 assists
