I like the player but I don't see a way back to City and it is not down to his attitude. As it has been highlighted Pep was just frustrated with him rather than full disdain.

Sane doesn’t play like that anymore.

He plays RW cutting inside as a playmaker more rather than the wide fast winger.

The benefit is he can do that when we have transitions and still play slower.

The team and staff clearly love him, I’d take him back in a heart beat, his heart is in Manchester.

The thing with Pep is purely conjecture.

He didn’t leave in Pep’s bad books, Pep was just angry with him in one game when he came on as a sub (Leicester) and he didn’t close down someone to which Sané said something back.

But Pep and de Bruyne have a go at each other every few games and most people don’t even notice. Just before Akanji’s goal against Madrid, Pep and de Bruyne had a right go at each other, Pep came on the pitch to shout at him, then de Bruyne put in a cross that ended up in the net.

I think everyone exaggerates the Pep v Leroy feud, Leroy’s bad attitude, Leroy sulking… looking for things that simply weren’t really there.
