Would you have Sane back?

I remember pep constantly going ballistic at him away at burnley one year before dragging him off, might have been the “sterling miss” game?

He didn’t leave in Pep’s bad books, Pep was just angry with him in one game when he came on as a sub (Leicester) and he didn’t close down someone to which Sané said something back.

But Pep and de Bruyne have a go at each other every few games and most people don’t even notice. Just before Akanji’s goal against Madrid, Pep and de Bruyne had a right go at each other, Pep came on the pitch to shout at him, then de Bruyne put in a cross that ended up in the net.

I think everyone exaggerates the Pep v Leroy feud, Leroy’s bad attitude, Leroy sulking… looking for things that simply weren’t really there.
Agreed 100%

Agreed

Pep made him into a potential superstar, he was a fool to leave and both Pep and player fully know that.
I believed we were going to have the next big thing in Sane he brought excitement into the pitch. When he won the PFA young player award I knew he was going on to have a great career but that injury was massive for him at his age. Don’t blame him at all for wanting to go back home to the best club in Germany, I just hope he’s one of the three names for a winger.

I think sometimes Pep is too intense and if you are a bit uptight or have been shielded from that at a young age which a lot of players are, they don't know how to take it, but the guy is a proven and born winner and does not hide his frustrations well, I think he does it in part to push players on to that next level, some listen and learn and make the improvements to their game to play his system and others think he's a right twat for it and end up leaving or sulking about it... Plenty of big egos have struggled with Pep but then there are plenty of his ex players who won't have a bad word said about him.

I'd have Leroy back in a heartbeat, plays much more direct now albeit attacking more centrally but he is still class, he caused us the most issues when we played them in the CL last Year imo.
