Would you have Sane back?

I'm honestly not against going back for former player if there's a real point to it, still not convinced there's any real good reason to actually sanction Leroy Sane's return though.

I don't believe there's issues regarding our wide players when they're fully fit, it's the engine room and the link between our wide men and defence that's really troubled, we've been seriously unlucky with injuries but especially out wide.
I'd argue it's possibly one of our strongest area's when everyone is fully fit as both Savinho and Doku run at people, Grealish and Bobb can both do that but mainly help our possession based game and enable runners from deep, we're really struggling for legs though centrally in midfield, players aren't getting forward enough and then they're stretched on the counter it's where the real issues of our team are.

When Savinho starts scoring we'll be laughing and forget this thread but we're in a difficult place, ideally we wouldn't have been starting Savinho so often, unfortunately Bobb and Grealish's injuries plus the odd Doku knock has put immense pressure on Savinho from the off, sadly he's been thrust right into the first team with no real rest so he's trying too hard which is leading to some mistakes.

Had they all been fit I think Savinho would've been slowly eased into the side with much less pressure leading to goals, anybody saying he's not a major talented is completely clueless I've watched him outshine Vinicius Jr for Brazil, he also pretty much destroyed every full back he faced in La Liga last year, he's young and got everything going for him he just needs to add goals but they'll eventually come.
Oscar Bobb is a major loss too this season this was going to be his breakout year as he was easily our best player in pre-season, we're really missing him and a few others this plague of injuries is angin but might actually be a blessing long-term though.

We need to fix the centre of midfield mainly that's where we're seriously broken there's no real issues out wide, if we had proper pace and energy in the middle of the park to get alongside our wide men and help defend we'd have no issues.
If we sort this area out then I honestly believe everything will fall into place but we could do with a Haaland backup, we're suffering in the middle of the park though it needs immediate attention and when this is fixed, our defence won't even need that much of an overhaul bar a right back and maybe a backup centre back.

The problem with Leroy was mainly his attitude and his reaction to being dropped, and Bayern were going to pay him more.

Good player but needed coddling too much.
Amazing how we coddle our youngsters now, isn’t it?

Was German, with interfering parents who wanted him home and he had a kid out of wedlock while he was here, living alone in the city. Life came at him fast.

Yes, he might have had a strop in him, but I don’t want anyone who enjoys being dropped!

We could have saved ourselves about, oh, say £100M (to be spent on a RB & DM!) if we could have helped him see life “the Pep way” a little more, but life was coming at him fast!

He will always be a case of what might have been at City.

However, one thing that was is the winning goal against Liverpool the year we were the only team to beat them and that 6 pointer won us the League!

The sick swan was a similar match (result won the League), but that Liverpool win was the best atmosphere I’d seen (bar the QPR festivities). Never heard the stadium so loud!
