I don’t think he fought his way out or left on bad terms. Bayern made him quite a ridiculous offer and promised him the world. Given that he wasn’t getting a huge amount of game time, and we (rightly) didn’t come close to matching Bayern’s offer, I can understand perfectly why he would want to move. If he is willing to reduce his wages and work hard then it’s an extremely easy one for me. We failed miserably to replace him, and I still can’t see an adequate replacement available in the market.

I think my view is that he plays for himself and lacks a team ethic. I loved him when he was here but often went missing. Absence makes the heart grow fonder at times but he frustrated a lot. He went to be the heart & face of the German rags and National team, with all that has been afforded to him by Bayern.. if they’re unhappy something’s amiss. So .. it’s a no from me.
If Bayern get Mane from the dippers, I reckon Sane will be part of a swap deal.
I would cry seeing Leroy turn up for the Dippers.
