Don’t disagree with that post but in all honesty I never felt Leroy let us down. Gone, it seems, is the intensity that burned him out at other clubs. I think Guardiola, of today, would handle Sané differently.
An intense Guardiola and a young confused Sané (with the pressure of world potential, much advice from family and national threats on his plate) was a powder keg/ bad mix. I can't recall Guardiola manhandling his players in recent times as he did with Sané back then.
Both are older now and there's no hate, as far as I know, between them.

Sure I read Sane’s stats in champs league put him in team of the tournament but could be wrongI don’t watch the Bundesliga because I’d rather watch paint dry but looking at Bayern’s stats you can see that Gnabry has outperformed him in terms of G/A and Coman achieved similar G/A stats having made significantly less appearances.
Stats don’t paint the full picture but he hasn’t exactly set the world alight. Maybe with Lewandowski and Gnabry leaving he can step up.
