I'm wouldn't go as far as to say I feel bad for him but I do feel like his career has suffered since he got caught in a tug of war between what his missus and his mum wanted.

I wonder how good he'd be right now if he went with the former and stayed with us.

Alternatively, Chelsea have decided they're still short on inconsistent pacey wide forwards and have decided to fund the next few years of Bayern's transfer activity.

He played 47 games in that season for us and averaged more than a goal every 3 matches.

He wasn't as consistent as he should have been and Pep was obviously frustrated with him at times but I feel like there's been a bit of revisionism about him since he left.

Sane being on the pitch wasn't always constructive thou & that was the problem. Loved Leroy when he was here but I don't think he's the same player at Bayern & would probably need to be in a counter attacking team
