You could say he struggled against a good full back, but I don't think that was the case.
Southampton were so deep and so compact there was literally no where for him to run.

On the one occasion they left any space in the first half he exploited it and should have scored/got a pen.

His presence alone was likely the reason Southampton were so deep and allowed us to be so dominant and strong defensively.

Between himself, Jesus and potentially Sterling if all three progress we will have the most devastating front line in europe - the other front three's of equal power are all hitting there 30s, ours barely leaving there 20s.

His form since the Arsenal game has been incredible. Never looked back since his first goal.

Very few player's are blessed with the pace Leroy possesses, (at his young age he still has the potential to get faster).
Very few player's are blessed with the poise (his balance and graceful motion).
Very few player's are blessed with the strength (above and beyond what it should be for his body type).
Very few player's are blessed with the explosion over the first few yards.
Very few player's are blessed with the calmness with the ball.

Leroy possess all of these in abundance, and the only things that can stop him becoming the very best of player's, is Leroy himself or injury. As Pep would say we are very lucky to have Leroy Sane' at Manchester City.
Although not possessing the speed of Leroy, David Silva is the only other player who has the poise balance grace in the premier league, the way they move float glide I sometimes get them mixed up (I can't be the only one who does). Anyway onwards and onwards this is our time.
