There's a warning here about expecting too much of Jesus too early.

Very true, especially coming from the Brazilian league, and yet there is often no rhyme or reason to why some players adapt quickly and others struggle.

Yep, I agree. No doubt he's a decent prospect but just not what I expected.

I've talked to some Bundesliga fans prior to his arrival. They all said that he has "potential" to be a world class player and don't expect him to do wonders instantly, they said currently he is a hot and cold type of guy with few good performances and few bad ones.

Also, I think he has played in a counter attacking system majority of his senior career, he needs time to adapt to this possession play (like Sterling last season).

The only thing that bothers me about him is his lack of urgency. He is way too pedestrian at times.

Yep, I agree. No doubt he's a decent prospect but just not what I expected.

Roberts looks to have more in his locker,as did maybe Barker.

The other worrying aspect is his nonchalant attitude,he doesnt exactly look like a bloke who wants to set the world on fire.

Hopefully its simply a case of acclimatising and adjustment as,given the chase and the fee,he must have more about him than what i'm currently witnessing.

Not writing him off by any means, sometimes you just expect to see a bit more.

Dont be silly,no one is writing him off.

I just think,even at this very early stage,many were expecting a little bit more.
