Great potential, and he’s been fantastic on occasions. However, he’s immature, selfish and not consistent enough.

Kept going right to the last kick, never hid, unlucky not to get a cross through for an assist.

Comes across a right knob sometimes, half arsed performances and looking like he doesn’t care. Brahim deserves a chance ahead of him. All the potential to be a world beater but it’s not happening for him at the minute.

Real confidence issues, hard to see him as a consistent player, things don't go his way and he spits it big time

I think he seriously misses Silva. Without Silva he receives the ball in front of the full back far too often, Silva is always looking for the killer ball in behind which brings the best out of Sane.

Got away with a second yellow for an obvious pull back... The form he is showing is very frustrating, one minute he is brilliant, the next he can't trap a ball or run without losing control of it. I wouldn't start him against Watford but if he does, he needs to produce big time

He needs some competition. Maybe if we do sign Sanchez it will give him the kick in the arse he clearly needs.

Seems to be overconfident bordering on arrogant lately, which is odd because his form has bottomed out. Could do with competition like mentioned above, but Bernardo sure isn't going to keep him out of the side. Maybe Diaz can start making the bench? Now with Jesus out, its a possibility.

Love a player who shows a bit of attitude , Leroy is a winner and if Pep can control his petulance then he will be a sensational player , he will only get better . With Sane , Sterling and Jesus we have got three of the most exciting players in europe at the moment.

Brilliant young player but becomed arrogant.
Sometimes when a pass from his teammates is not perfect he will moan and scream.
He did that with Gabriel a couple of times.
Tried again today with the wrong guy and Kevin de Bruyne put him in his place..

I'm just not seeing this petulance. I mean sometimes he does act out, but he's a kid and that's to be expected. Overall this season he's been amazing. I'd actually be surprised if he wasn't confident in himself,

Fair enough it's your opinion. Perhaps over-confidence is an issue - youth and all that ?

He is a kid and a very talented player , but that doesn't mean that immature behaviour should be ignored when it detracts from his performances. Stupid booking today which could have resulted in worse , and so unnecessary .

I hope that Pep / senior players point things like that out to him, in order to help him develop and help him learn .

Like any kid, he needs either a fatherly arm round the shoulder chat or a kick up the arse chat. Pep will no doubt be best placed to choose which will have the greatest impact.

He was owned by Fosu-Mensah today and thought he would get the hook for Sterling after about an hour. Obviously not his day and his biggest threat was getting a second yellow.
