Great pass for the first goal but then went missing.
Some really dire touches and his decision making seems to need quite a bit of work.
So many killer passes he could/should've made, instead he seems to prefer going for personal glory.
I really dislike that, it's a team game and he should start acting like it and not let his ego get in the way.
Luckily he's still young so he's got plenty of time to improve.

Not his best performance but he goes past players for fun, easily the best in our squad at that. Going to be world class in a few years in my opinion.

Not convinced the really tight passing and control suits him, he's devastating when the game is a bit more open, seems to struggle when the pressing is as tight as that

What did you think of his performance against Stoke?
The good side of his inconsistency.

I see what everybody else see's which is a phenomenally talented player. I don't, however, see any good full 90 minutes/performances from him or place him above the likes of Jesus or Sterling yet.

I think he's a Pep favourite to be brutally honest, not wholly unmerited, but already see the standard excuses rolled out each poor performance on here. Silly fouls tonight in the first half, greedy on more than one occasion, couldn't trap a bag of cement in the second half or stay on his feet for too long. I'd like to think the other subs show who'll be rested for the weekend but I won't be shocked to see Sané play ahead of Sterling.

Does that mean I don't rate him, nope. He's a wonderfully gifted player. I'll just call a spade a spade when I see it. Poop tonight.

What was your view on his performance?

He's very inconsistent which I suppose we should expect at his age. It's just when he's good he's really fucking good so it's a shame he struggles doing it consistently.

I'd say he's got more potential in that style of play than Ronaldo or bale did at the same age. Just seems a little immature imo

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately i cant properly answer as i haven't seen the Stoke game in its entirety, however, the highlights suggest he was superb.Tonight ive been working so have seen nothing.

I recognise your concerns about consistency though, but i also think youre going a tad overboard in your criticism,it certainly seems like your waiting to find fault with him.
