Still only 22 but I can’t think of a better winger in world football right now. And his best is still to come. A top top player of now and the future.

Shit comment really when how many chances did he actually squander? When he passed it to Bernado it was as much a fuck by any of them. A truly intelligent footballer where Sterling was and with that pace would have drew the keeper, created an angle for a Sane tap in..... If Sergio had played for 90 minutes tonight does anyone seriously think we wouldn't have won by more than 1 goal?
Come on sane clearly messed that up. there's no way you can flip that one onto sterling I'm afraid. He holds it any longer and with the pace they were moving at risks either sane running into an offside position or the hoffenheim defender that caught up cutting the pass out and I guess you would've said he delayed it too long. Anyone who watches that chance will tell you sane messed that up and nothing to do with sterling who put it on the plate for him.

Disagree. He wasn't in too much of a better position than Sterling. It was a pass for the sake of it from both Sterling and Sane. Sterling just had to go on a little further to commit the keeper,then play the pass.
