True, I'll be giving Pep the benefit of doubt. It’s up to Sane to make himself a guaranteed starter by performing in training. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors. I doubt he’s just being left out for shits and giggles.
Mahrez has shown nothing here to prove to us that he's better than Sane. What Mahrez did in a totally different set up 3 years ago means f*ck all right now.I am not a fan boy ! You should have gone to watch the semi fi
You are a fan boy, is he Messi or Ronaldo so I can not consider Mahrez better than him ? You have been continously slagging him off the even when he does not play ! I breathe football and get many of my predictions spot on! If you think I am ignorant, so is Pep who played him ahead of your worshiped player and praised him after the game. The day Sane wins POTY award and wins the league while being surrounded by average players you will be entiltled to prove me wrong.
He does not even come close to Mahrez. Sane could not even make it in a dreadfull german team for the world cup. As we all know, he is a prospect, he has not prved much yet ! Playing in a team full of world class players does not make him a world beater. As much as I like the pace and technicality of Sane, he gives the ball away more often than Mahrez, his first touch is most of the time shocking and he does not defend well. Had Sane played yesterday, we would have had a very reminiscent score of against Liverpool last season.
Treating a city player who has done his atmost to join city and has not spared himself in pursuit for improvement since he joined the team a clown is just disgraceful.
Very strange Pep decided to adopt this strategy for an away game. If it had been open game and we lost 3-2 it would have been better than the 1-0 loss. When it comes to teams who press and/or counter well Pep does seem to go with a player who can hold the ball well on the wing. Last year when he played Gundogan on the right against Liverpool comes to mind. This is one of Sane's flaws. He does lose the ball the ball at times which could lead to counter attacks more easily. I really think Pep was more concerned about keeping the score tight and not pushing for a goal and making it an open game. However Sane does track back well and has the pace to defend and really should have just played him because Mahrez offered nothing. There are 2 more games against Spurs so we'll see.

He is best suited to City, Pep did not recruit him out of sentimentality. His stats are more than decent, his contribution is obvious, his first touch is world class, his crosses are deadly, his vision is extraordinary.
I am so mature that I will not get into childish discussions ! All your questions are irrelevant. My age and number of times I have watched City this season are none of your business with all due respect.
