He is brilliant. Weaves between players leaving them for dust much like Sterling does on the other flank. It really is a pleasure watching Manchester City.
 
He’s so smooth in his movement and skill. What a player!

It was long floated in Germany that he could be the answer to their striker problem. Timo Werner emerged in the last 2 years so that problem isn't quite as urgent as it once was, but of all the Wunderkinds they had on the wing - Sané, Draxler, Brandt etc. - Leroy was the one they thought might move inside.

I don't see it personally, and I think Pep actually said in a press conference that he couldn't play inside, or he at least listed all the players that could play there and Sané was omitted.
 
I know he got an assist today and at times he looks brilliant. He was fantastic last season but, despite not going to The WC, he's looked a bit too casual at times this season imo, and I think he could do more.
 
Great assist but I can't help thinking he's a little wasted playing so wide. Play him a bit closer to the goal when Mendy's back, like Sterling does on the right.

More poor stuff than good stuff in general play today imo but helped make the difference when it mattered, which in itself is what matters ultimately.
 
Going forward he's fucking unplayable, but the first half he pissed about when we lost the ball as usual. Zinchenko luckily handled it.
 
Didnt see a problem with Leroy's contribution today , he looked lively and has a telepathic understanding with Merlin and the cross for Sterling was inch perfect ............but can he track back ? Proabably not the most enthusiastic purveyor of the defensive art but i would rather see him using his energy tearing full backs another arse hole.
 
he was terrific his pace for the first goal was ridiculous like a ferrari or a mc claren maybe ,something fast anyway v old bangers,hes also started to look interested in getting on the end of crosses
