Leroy Sane - 2018/2019 performances

i feel like some people forget how well Sane and Mendy played together in the beginning of last season before mendy got injured. They work very well together...

sane and sterling didn't start a lot of matches when mendy was fit if I remember right.

Was a bit shocking yesterday, though I'm not sure Low's tinkering with his position helps. So far he's been truly great only as an outside winger in a 4-3-3 and a relatively OK left wing back in games like Chelsea or Spurs two years ago. But being in the front three of a 3-4-3, he was shit yesterday.I guess nerves played a role too.

Come on now. He was barely able to get hold of the ball in the 2nd, misplaced easy (for his level) passes in 2v1 etc. situations.

If KDB had been playing, instead of the various dithering sloths in the German midfield, he would have been clean through about 6 times.

Pretty small sample size and Mendy has only been fit at the beginning of seasons with Sane being a slow starter.

Was electric today and fought hard to get the ball back. Got himself on the scoresheet as well. Needs to improve his focus at times.

Has a bit of naughtiness in him but I like it to be honest. Put the ball through the legs of Lowton and was taken out. Then returned the favor for his yellow card, it was little extreme though and he should of stopped there. Could of seen red.
