Played well and was linking up wonderfully with Dave as usual. His back heel pass on the counter was exquisite.

Caused a lot of problems for their defense, was surprised to see him brought off, Sterling should of been the sub imo

They played a deep U formation coupled with a high press. The wingers were doomed from minute one. What should have happened in reaction to how they set up was our fullbacks should have had a field day cutting inside, but Zinchenko is limited and plays it safe(and rightly so IMO) and Walker had a stinker and kept trying to release the winger rather than cut in. He wasn't helped by Lyon's ability to keep Sterling quiet who should have been the quick pass and go for Walker.

There's going to be games where our wingers suffer due to tactics. Just like there will be games where teams focus too much on KDB and Silva in the middle and get the arse tore out of them out wide as a result.
