Leroy Sane PFA Young Player of the Year

How's he had a better season than Raz ?
Look at the run and assist against Newcastle... while Raheem is much improved and [for stats people] has had a better season statistically, he’ll never do anything like that run and assist of Sané’s in his whole career, nor the hand he had in those goals away at Arsenal, the goal at Anfield... All those things were the mark of a special special player, if he’s doing that at 22.

Leroy Sané will one day be the best player in the world, mark my words. And right now, he’s showing glimpses of that which everyone is very excited about

Totally deserved, been fabulous this season and will only keep getting better. The future is very bright with him, sterling, ederson, jesus etc.

I think the potential in Sane is greater than in Raheem and like you think there is no ceiling to what he can achieve. I must admit, for me, Raheem has been more consistent over the season and involved in more key monents, but both worthy winners

Sane has been fantastic this year, in patches. I'm sure his highlight reel will look a lot better than Raz's and that's why he's won it over him. Both have been fantastic, but what Raz does isn't flashy and won't be shown on MotD, he's all about off the ball movement. So people just see a 5 yard tap in instead of the great movement to get there, while Sane's magic is much more obvious and his blunders tend to be terrible crosses or running out of play, which again aren't going to be seen on highlight packages, unlike the odd sitter missed by Sterling. Either would have been worthy winners, so would Ederson and they'd surely be the top 3.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if Liverpool do a lot of shit behind the scenes as well trying to make sure Sterling doesn't get any votes, they seem exactly the sort of sad ****s to really put in effort to try and influence these sort of awards. I'd be interested to see who Salah voted for as an example, whether he was honest like Kev or voted tactically like a snide twat

Kyle Walker said in that interview last week talking about the young players at City “Leroy can be anything he wants in his career, he’s that good”

It’s voted for by the players, who generally speaking, are playing football whilst City are playing themselves. So they are just voting off what the MOTD pundits say. Nobody sees the good things Sterling does with his movement, only the bad finishing. Sané does more MOTD-friendly actions.
