Les Chapman - Tales of Blue

Left it seems being a bit of a gobshite. However, there's likely 3 or 4 sides to the history behind his departure from us.

Mrs Moon as a kid lived next door to him & his family in Royton, age said he was just a normal bloke not a big time Charlie. Now playing for Oldham wasn't apart from a couple of years under Royle ever something to 'tart about' but in context he'd have been known to one and all as a player and didn't take the piss.

Who can forget Gillingham? Gave our bus driver a load of cash and chucked him in a pub in London. He was fuckin twisted when we got back. How he drove us home I don't know.

No thanks. He played the role of the village idiot for the players but thought he could slag off and criticise the manger in place at the time. Not for me.
We all did.
