to those of you who seem to view moyes as in the wrong here, get a grip, lescotts in a contract- even if you put in a request to leave it doesnt mean jackshit.

you mean this reply ^^^.......actually its footballers contracts that mean "jackshit"...and a transfer request carries a lot of weight at the top level ......so to dismiss a transfer request as having no meaning is extremely niave......even from a supposed "corporate lawyer"......I know a lot of legal beagles and only a few have any common sense (Bowden Blue, you and steve P have)

On talksport just now they are reporting with good sources that a premier league manager has either been sacked or resigned form a top club. Any ideas? They are all quite shocked by who it is so must be a big club possibly top 8.

It can't be Moyes, they said a 'top' club

id let DSOB back on just to laugh at him if it is moyes, its either him or Benitez i cant think of who else would walk

Goal.com also understands that Lescott will be in Manchester to sign for the Citizens shortly, once a £22 million fee has been paid to the Toffees and a deal finalised.

This is no doubt the first step towards demonising Lescott and saving his own skin. He'll eentually claim that he never had any intenions of selling Lescott but it becam apparent that his attitude was such that he gave the manager no option. Moyes is a right sneaky fucker, he's created this whole sordid mess and now he's trying to shift the blame onto someone else. No doubt the Evertonians will lap this up and the Moyesiah (how gay is that?!) will come out of this smelling of roses.
