Yeah just the all round feeling from MH quotes yesterday aswell. I like the fact we won't pay ott for him aswell, which is what Gollum was after all the time.
The way Moyes and Everton have handled this transfer from start to finish has been an absolute disgrace.

Moyes has courted and used the press at every turn making a fool out of himself and Everton FC. Its Moyes has turned this into a witch hunt in an ttempted to mask his inadequcies as a manager.
Not for sale at any price blaming everything on the player, Man City and Hughes. Hes afucking disgrace. Look at how Chelsea and CA handled our pursuit of John Terry, Everton are a small feeder club with no class he will never get a top job with his attitude.

Anything over 10-12 million is over the top for Lescott mate, never played for a top 4 club, never played in the Champions League and not first choice for his country. Everton have done extremely well out of us and if Moyes hadn't been so intent on trying to prove a point Everton would have taken our hands off first time round. I hope Lescott comes good for us, but we've already paid well over the odds for a player of his ability. His goals have added about 5 million to his pricetag and with the attacking players at our disposal it'd be nice to think scoring goals are the least of our worries.

No itk stuff but an Everton supporting mate just rang me up & said it's £24m PLUS a player...........i'd imagine he's talking utter shit as not even we would pay that much for someone like Lescott surely ?
