Was looking for a bit of an update on the lescott bid, any itk info been posted??
Apart from everton wanting 30 mill?

I think they want 30 million and a loan back for 2 years, plus Ned and Micah (we have to pay the wages). Don't mention Jo though!

Which if offered, would no longer be enough for the worlds greatest player (apparently).

He's travelling with the squad to the USA tomorrow , and the squad will be gone for a few weeks . Who knows what will happen during that time , but for now , I'd forget about Lescott for a while .

I do not possess to be ITK but I have a friend who works in a city centre hotel and Lescott has been there for two days this week he was present with his agent and personal trainer. They confirmed that all negotations for personal terms were complete and he has told Everton he wants to go to City.

He said that the problem is that the valuations are well wide of the mark, Everton looking for £25 million (less than whats reported in todays tabloids) City seem to think they will get him for £20 -22 million. Lescotts people seem to think that it is a straight cash buy and no player exchange is involved.

Just passing on info to you so please dont shoot me down.

would be a good signing, but anything over 20mil is a joke. he ain't THAT good. would rather go for upson at half the price if everton want too much for him.

Still think anything between £20 - £25 million straight cash is a good deal for us. Hes proven english and a good age plus he gets goals from defence.

We can bring in a player that technically might be more gifted like Alves for the same sort of money but no experience in PL has to come over with his family will he stand the weather, game over here etc......

I have said all along this is going to happen - the deal is too good for the player to turn down the rummored contract we are offering is 5 times what he is on at Everton...........

If we dont get Terry we will sign Uspon as well IMO. We have already been in for him in the January window....
