Lescott [Merged]

This I think will happen if we have actualy made a bid. Everton can't reject to much money i'm sure they arnt exactly in wonderful financial condition. Secure but not exactly rich. And with all these new teams like us and Portsmouth they will need extra money to keep up so selling him for a big price could be good interest for them. I see it happening ahead of Terry as I don't think it would take much to tempt Lescott here.

hopefully any deal with lescott will involve a jo swap deal. We will never recover the money back on Jo i think 13 million + jo would be a fair deal.

Cannot see the point in loaning out strikers to potential rivals to help them get further up the league.

Hopefully this can get resolved soon.

You might think that's fair, but Everton would think we were taking the piss and laugh us out of the room.

Everton will, quite rightly, hold out for around 22m in cash. Only at that point will a deal become possible.

In my opinion of course.

very similar situation to when we sold the little big man to chelsea.
they will get as much as possible
but eventually it will happen

I dont think everton rate jo enough to take as part of the deal! they will take him on loan next season too! and buy him for a tenth of what we paid for him! Worst signing i think city have ever made! As for lescott im worried alot of papers a reporting that we are going to use ned in this deal! Maybe for a season loan but if we sale him i think it would be a mistake! Would prefer a pure cash deal!

Cash is no use in the bank, they need defenders on the pitch particularly as Jagielka is injured so unless they can find a replacement, which looks unlikely, (they aren't going to offer huge wages, and are not as an exciting proposition as City (no offence)) then it's not going to happen. If Lescott put in a transfer request then that would change matters, but I can't see that. Lescott played in the FA Cup Final last season, he owes Moyes, and is at a good club who are in Europe.

I think lescott will put a transfer request in (only my opinion)
He'd have seen the tevez ade signings on ssn and will be doubling his money surely.
If i was him it would be an oppurtunity not to be missed for football and financial reasons.

i agree i think that's what will eventually happen if everton start playing silly buggers and asking for a stupid transfer fee.
