Do you seriously think that you will ever become the biggest club in the premiership???? really.... I have had no quarms with city in the past, infact I think both clubs can relate in terms of being in the shadow of other clubs within their cities....All the bravado of were going to be this and that is too far feched for me...You have had major investment for the past 3 seasons and yet you have done nothing...

If you want our best defender, who I consider to be one of the best in the world in the next couple of seasons, you will have to cough up. Not only is he versatile(CB,LB) he also scores goals. Name any other defender in the world that gives you that, who would be available for 15m....theres isn't one. if glenn johnson is worth 17m Lescott is worth 25m at least and you cannot say taht terry is worth double what lescott is worth...not a chance...Lescott is a great player and if you sign him I wish him the best of luck...But you won't get him for any less than 25m I can guarantee that.

Define 'biggest'? If you mean "will we win the Premiership"? then why not? Chelsea have done, twice, and Abramovich's wealth is dwarved by that of ADUG, so it's certainly possible. Any other measure of 'size' is an irrelevance, I'm quite happy to conceed you the title of biggest club in the world ever if we start to win things.

Also you can't guarantee anything, you've as little clue what's going to happen with Lescott as we do, and most certainly you have no idea what price Everton and City will agree upon. Tevez and Adebayor both cost £25m (or in that range), there's no way Lescott is valued as much as either of those two. Strikers and goalscorers invariably cost more than defenders and goalkeepers, it's just the way it works. Rio Ferdinand was a one-off in that respect. I think your drak blue glasses are clouding your judgement, there's no way Lescott is a £25m player, £20m at an absolute maximum.
