Don't worry, gents, SM says it's 100% done, but that could go down to 60% by the morning.

Blimey you cant go on a thread without having to read this clowns comments. Look mate, i know manure havent signed many players but surely you must have something to talk about with your international friends on a rag forum somewhere.

Joleon Lescott will plead with David Moyes, his Everton manager, to be allowed to talk to Manchester City.

Everton rejected a £15million bid on Friday for the England defender, who travelled to the United States yesterday afternoon for a club training camp in Seattle, but he has told team-mates that he wants to hear their plans.

City are expected to raise their offer to about £18million, with Mark Hughes having identified Lescott as a priority while continuing his pursuit of John Terry, the England captain.

Lescott, 26, is not a natural agitator and is reluctant to antagonise Moyes by pushing for a transfer, but he believes that joining City would strengthen his claim for a place in England's starting line-up in next summer's World Cup finals.

Everton moved closer to a deal to sign Rasmus Elm, the 21-year-old Sweden midfield player, who is expected to join from Kalmar FF.

Project , back on topic for a second , but do you really believe Lescott would have the balls to tell Moyes he wants to speak to City when only a £15 million offer has been put on the table ?

Only if you class them as real people.

Sorry I have to agree. I see them as a sub species.....actually that’s not fair to primates……
