If you are going to make accusations you need to be able to back them up.

Erm, have you been around the last 6 weeks? After being continually told a player is not for sale, and after having bids rejected, City continued its pursuit of Lescott. There were continuous quotes in the press from Hughes about his desire to bring Lescott to Eastlands, that he felt the deal could still be done, despite Moyes asserting over and over again that he would not consider doing business with them. City have forced this through. You know it and we know it.

1) City made offer - rejected
2) CIty made improved offer - rejected
3) No other bids placed by City
4) JL hands in transfer request
5) Hughes mentions hope of completing a deal
6) Around similar time Moyes talks of hopefully completing a deal for Senderos <- double standards here
7) Clubs have now obviously concluded a deal in private.
8) And all the while it was Everton informing the world of City bidding for JL. Maybe JL would never had knew if EFC hadn't made it public :)

This is exactly why I've always hated Everton. You've always thought you were bigger than you are. You see us as small time, and you can't accept that one of your players would choose City over Everton. And that's really what all this is about.

Listen yourselves lads...we should be grateful??? there is a lot of you now getting the attitude of the team you have hated for so long!! A lot sound like Man u fans and Liverpool fans who seem to have an arrogance towards other clubs...it looks ridiculous.
Its probably paper talk , the only way we would report you is if we have evidence of your tapping up as arsenal did against Chelsea. If we do have evidence then you deserve everything you get, you maybe be the richest club but who cares you get treated like anyother.

I think some of the more arrogant comments are just a result of us getting a bit pissed off at being accused of all sorts by you fans and your manager. All we did was very good offers for a player. YOUR club went public. There was no need to tap anyone up, because the player knew we wanted him and he fancied the move.

And whilst we're on about arrogance, I think Everton fans need to open their eyes a little with regard to how they view little City.

wante mate, the problem we have on here is the almost constant rubbish spouted about this saga by lots of your fans.

The bottom line is that now we have this money and are able to sign players, the jealousy is going to exist and we are going to be hated, unfairly in my view but it will happen.

What we dont want to read every 5 mins is this abuse on our own board.

we dont need all this name callin between clubs the bottom line is lescott is coming to us now maybe 5 weeks later than it should of happened but its a massive deal for everton to weathers its 21 mill or 25 you can do your buisness now and we should just look forward to the game when its arranged.

£24m would be fantastic business. God, this time last season I would have taken £8m for Lescott. He was our worst player. He improved a lot since then.

But lads, Lescott does make mistakes. Don't expect world-class, because that's not waht you're getting. You're getting a grafter.

I think you are generalizing about Everton fans..so what you are saying that there is no way you tapped him up? Whats your opinion if its proved you made an illegal approach?
